This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data in connection with Motika.IO.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Motika.IO mobile app
- related websites used for the service https://motika.io
2. Data we collect
2.1 Account and identifiers
- internal account identifier (automatic account creation)
- optional email address (if user adds it)
2.2 Usage events (internal counters)
We record basic events such as views/likes/shares and other engagement events used for product operation, integrity, and improvement.
2.3 Approximate location (country-level)
We process country-level location derived from IP/technical signals.
2.4 Support communications
If you contact us, we process the information you provide.
3. Data we do not collect (current state)
Based on current design:
- no precise GPS location
- no contacts
- no microphone/camera permissions
- no external analytics SDKs at this time (no GA/Firebase/Crashlytics)
4. How we use data
We use data to:
- provide and operate the service
- maintain security and prevent abuse/fraud
- improve product performance and user experience
- respond to support requests
- comply with legal obligations
5. Advertising (planned): Google AdMob
If/when we enable ads via Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share data such as:
- IP address
- device/account identifiers
- user product interactions
- diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
(These are SDK-level behaviors.)
We will update this policy if our ad configuration changes materially (e.g., personalized vs non-personalized ads, consent flows).
6. Sharing
We share data with:
- infrastructure/hosting providers (to run the service)
- advertising partners (only if AdMob enabled)
- authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect rights/safety
We do not sell personal data.
7. Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described.
- inactive accounts: delete/anonymize after 12 months of inactivity
- support tickets: retain for 3 months
- security logs: retain for 30 days
8. International transfers
We operate from Macedonia and may process data where our infrastructure providers operate.
9. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect data; no system is 100% secure.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing. Request via: davor.iliev@solutions.mk
11. Children
The service is intended for users 13+.
If we learn that a user under 13 provided personal data, we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy; updates will be posted with a new effective date.
