After eight months waiting tables she decided to switch to her current career - and found she could earn more in an evening than her previous $350-a-month paypacket. "That first client was okay, nothing terrible happened, but I felt like the most ordinary cheap rag," she said. "I didn't work for three months, but when I needed money and when I realized that I could earn more in one evening than in a month of waiting, I came back. With each subsequent client it got easier, I convinced myself that it was just work." She added: "For the most part, I had no problems.
