Ronaldo himself also shared a message with his 105 million followers on X: 'Hard work is the way to success!' The consistency of the 40-year-old is remarkable and he has now scored more than 40 times in fourteen different calendar years across his career. His relentless training includes Pilates, regular swims and five trips to the gym a week. These include 25-30 minutes of cardio, high-intensity sprinting and targeted weights to increase muscle strength. In total, he works out for three to four hours a day. Furthermore, rather than sticking to the traditional three-meal structure of breakfast-lunch-dinner, Ronaldo prefers to refuel with six smaller 'mini-meals' throughout the day: Breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, supper, dinner.

World Cup dream and current form

In the meantime, he is focusing on maintaining his red hot form for Al-Nassr having scored 12 in nine games this season. He has hit the ground running after a recent break and the win means Al-Nassr have claimed three points in each of their 10 games so far this season to leave them four points top of the Saudi Pro League.
