Injury and comeback reshape her career
But after a long spell out of the game with injury, the French star has plunged to 744 in the WTA singles ranking. She returned to action in late September following nine months out of the game and it's safe to say she now looks very different. Standing about 1.83 meters tall, she returned from injury with a noticeably larger chest size.
The athlete explains the decision and timing
The tennis star, who is known for her ball-hitting power, said: "I had breast augmentation surgery. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time." It's true that I took advantage of this break because I told myself, as you have to stop playing for about two months after the operation, when you're in the season, it's not possible. So I said to myself, 'If I'm going to stop for six months, I might as well do what I want'. And I prefer to do it now than at 40 when I've finished my career. I'm very happy to have done it, I don't regret it at all, and it doesn't bother me." She added: "I didn't expect people to like it this much."
From court to platform sponsorship and bio
Going a step further, she has now opened an account on an adult website. She even reportedly penned a sponsorship deal with the adult platform. Her bio reads: "Where tennis meets sensuality." In the tennis world, several players have undergone breast reduction surgery as it interfered with their game. But Oceane is believed to be the first player to have her breasts boosted.
The numbers and peers on the platform
Oceane has reportedly earned around £2.1m in 14 years as a tennis pro, but she is expected to earn more in one year on the site than her career total. Other French tennis stars to open an account on the website include Chloe Paquet and Alexandre Müller. Nick Kyrgios, Pedro Martinez, and Sachia Vickery are also present on the platform.
