The Melbourne man was sleeping rough, couch-surfing from one friend's house to another, and spending most nights just trying to find a place to shower. 'In my early 20s, I found myself homeless with no money or place to stay. I slept in my car and showered at friends' places whenever I could,' Noah said. 'One day, I woke up and knew I wanted something different for my life. I made a clear vision and started taking massive action towards success. I tried a few things... then started videography, which led to creating Facebook ads, a skill that changed my life.' With zero business experience, Noah and his girlfriend launched a skincare brand. His ads were performing so well that the couple made their first $1million together. Fast forward to today and the now 29-year-old has made his debut on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2025 after building a $30 million logistics company called Future Fulfilment, with clients including Vegemite and AFL, just to name a few.

Homelessness in Melbourne and the Turning Point

At just 21, Noah Hunter Dorsey was homeless and living out of his car. Seven years before his success, Noah was broke with nothing to his name but a car. He spent his days skating, surfing and making music, and his nights living out of his car, sometimes sleeping on couches and showering at friends' places wherever he could. As he hit rock bottom, he met his girlfriend who eventually let him stay at her place. 'Luckily, I met my girlfriend at this time who let me sleep on her couch while she went to Europe,' Noah said. That brief moment of stability led to him realising he needed to build a different life. He had a vision, even if he did not yet know what it looked like. Noah began dabbling in a handful of things before stumbling into videography, which led him into learning Facebook ads - a skill that would drastically alter the course of his life. 'With my newfound skills, I launched a skincare brand with my girlfriend and we made out first $1million together. A big upgrade from when we first met,' he said. At just 22, Noah was inspired to help other small businesses, driven by a desire for Gen Z to redefine the marketing world. 'So I launched a content agency with very little experience but a big belief in Gen Z and what we could offer the marketing industry,' he explained. 'The agency exploded. We were all young and having the time of our lives building the business and learning together.' For the first time, Noah was finally living the life he had once only dreamed about from the back seat of his car. It was here that he met his now-business partner Nick Forge, who owned his own ecommerce brand. The two bonded over the same pain point: Traditional 3PLs (third-party logistics) were slow, outdated and constantly letting emerging brands down. They knew there had to be a better way so they started Future Fulfilment in 2021. The duo scraped together $5,000 to lease a dusty warehouse on the outskirts of Melbourne. It was empty, with no equipment, no staff and no real safety net. In their first week, 100 pallets arrived with no forklift to unload them so they frantically borrowed machinery from neighbouring warehouses.

The Birth of Future Fulfilment The $5 000 Start and the 100 Pallets

Noah built a $30 million logistics company called Future Fulfilment, with clients including Vegemite and AFL, just to name a few. Future Fulfilment has surpassed $30 million in revenue and grown more than 400 percent in just two years. Every late night, every box shipped and every small start-up they supported helped build the foundations of what would come next. Future Fulfilment grew rapidly. But things took an unexpected turn when an arson attack in early 2023 threatened to take the company out overnight, but instead it became a defining moment. The rest is history, Noah said. 'For the last four years, we have been doing everything humanly possible to grow Future into a global fulfilment powerhouse.' Today, Future Fulfilment has become one of the most exciting new logistics forces in Australia. Their national micro fulfilment network ships for well-known companies and household brands like Vegemite and AFL. Noah's resilience, modern approach to logistics and ability to turn setbacks into fuel earned him a place on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Retail and Ecommerce. With a new international hub in Shanghai, Noah and Nick are positioning Future Fulfilment as a global contender. Forbes recognised Noah not only for the scale of what he has built but for how he built it.

Hold Your Vision A Final Motivational Message

'It's been a wild journey so far,' Noah said. 'I can't help but think about the version of me seven years ago who decided to make a change. Let this be your motivation. Hold your vision. The rest will work itself out.'
